Galaxy Council Member of the Month
Brian Pellicano – How many miles do you drive to attend a Galaxy Community Council function? For Brian Pellicano it’s over 120 miles from his home in Auburn Massachusetts to Westover ARB and return. But, according to Brian” it’s worth the drive”. Brian has fond memories of Westover. While in the U. S. Air Force, his assignment was to work in the maintenance of the KC-97 Tanker used by the Wing Commander of Goose Bay, Labrador The aircraft was also used by some USO tours affording Brian the opportunity to meet many stars of the entertainment world.
In his civilian career, Brian spent over 30 years working for TV Channel 5 Boston as an associate director in the news department. Married to the former Virginia (Ginger) Hoarle, Brian is the proud father of 4 and stepfather of 3 children. At the present time he and Ginger have 16 grandchildren. His family responsibilities and his work as a Shriner have not diminished Brian’s participation in the Galaxy Council functions. Since joining the council in 2006, Brian has worked in almost all of the Galaxy functions. The main reason that he is willing to spend what little free time he has to help the Galaxy in their support of the Westover mission is the great people who belong to the Galaxy Council and the service they provide to Westover ARB.
Brian Pellicano is a fine example of the type of member that makes the Galaxy Council such a great organization. Thanks Brian.
